I haven't since they have left the kitten and puppy stages. One of our cats is 14 and the other turns 10 in September. Our dog is now 4 and is too old for baby talk.

Yes I tell him you are the best kitty of the world and I talk to my pets all the time in baby talk

Some of the time. But I mostly talk normal. Basically, 40% of the time, it's baby talk...the other 60%, it's normal talk.

No. I don't do baby talk. I do talk a bit higher than normal to my pets, so they know I'm happy to see them, but not baby talk.

I treat my dog much like I do a child. So, I guess the answer would be yes, to some extent. She definitely knows who "Mommy" is.

I do not have any pets.....but i speak to animals as i speak to children: as if they were adults.
I figure they deserve at least that much respect.

No, I talk in a normal tone and use my cat's name when I want his attention. This gets him to respond to my normal voice and not to people who baby talk.

it's sad to say,but yes I do with my cats,and almost every animal that I get near.It always seem to work,and by that I seem to get some type of reaction.I even did it to a young bull,who proceeded to nuzzle next to me,boy was he heavy!
