I'd spend one day going to Villefranche and from there to the gardens of Mme Euphrussie. After that I'd either walk or drive up to the village of Eze to feel the athmosphere and take a look at the view from the gardens on top.

I'd spend one day driving to the mountains - the area of St. Martin de Vesubie. It is the alps area straight north of Nice heading for Isola. If I wanted I'd also visit small cities in the mountain heading for Valberg on my way home from St. Martin de Vesubie. I'd skip the tourist-trap of Grasse.

I'd spend one day visiting some art museums in Nice. There are so many to chose from. In the old city of Nice there is this fish-restaurant with a very blue facade (now, I cant remember it's name, but it's not possible to miss) They serve the most fantastic and extravaganza seafood you can imagine. Go there for lunch. And take a stroll down the promenade for food to sink...

I'd definitely have to spend one day going to Aix. My favourite city - ever.

I'd give you one day to figure out something for yourself...

Have a nice trip to Nice :-)

Anibes is very nice, there is also
Saint Paul de Vence is a charming hilltop fortified village in Provence, filled with art galleries, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. It's hard to find something ugly about this quaint village. A walk through its winding streets reveals elegant fountains, vine-covered stone walls and statues tucked into nooks in the walls. There are breathtaking views of mountains and sea. Even the ground below is attractive, as the cobblestones are laid into the shapes of flowers. It's about 40 minutes away by bus.
Sospel
Head for the sky by visiting Sospel, a charming Alpine village. Although it isn't in the high Alps, the town is situated at an altitude of around 3,000 feet. The village is quaint, with lovely medieval streets and trompe-l’œil façades. Despite its close proximity to the city of Nice, this is an ideal stop for outdoor activities. There are opportunities to hike, ride on horseback, mountain-bike and fish. It's 30 minutes away by train.
Eze
Eze is a medieval village perched like an eagles nest on a narrow rocky peak overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The ancient fortified village is still crowned with the ruins of its 12th-century fortified castle (torn down in 1706), sitting on a narrow rocky peak. The castle grounds host the well-known Jardin Exotique, and from the top (429 m) you'll have an good view of the coast (it will cost you, though).
Have a good time.

Hey there-

I used to travel to Nice 2 times each year- On your way to Monte Carlo is my favorite spot: Eze plage- the beach- you must walk over or inder the rail tracks but you will encounter no other Americans- voila !

There is a wonderful bakery by the over pass bridge that you can buy a picnic lunch- sandwiches of tomatoes and tuna- delicious !

I hope you saw all of Vieu Nice- old nice... as well- Antibe- all I remember was getting wasted on rose wine inside the ancient city walls at a cafe where there is a sort if flea market- ho hum...

If you're into it there is a nude beach at the tip of Nice bay - all rocky ledges- I had a good time there too. Abiento !

You should visit Italy which is really close even by train. I suggest the beautiful Bordighera. Or you could just go in the inland there are plenty of little old villages like Saint Paul de Vence that are really interesting. Have a nice holiday!

I went to Antibes once and it was pretty cool. You can go to the Chateau Grimaldi that houses the Picasso museum that overlooks the sea. There are nice beaches there too.
