msm cream or dmso cream?

I need to get down into the skin to soften scar tissue, which is better to use msm or dmso??

i had very bad acne and I took the msm tablets. within 2 months the scars were gone, the msm cream is very ashy and gritty to the touch.

dsmo is really strong...i read about it in that natural cures book...its suposely really good stuff...
