What Mexican Political situation? Does it matter really? Who cares really. They are a third world country.

First of all, Mexico is a third world country but what happens there affects a lot what happens in the US, so note that.
Second: The corruption in Mexico has been a cancer established by 70 year ruling party PRI, now gpne but whose direct descendent and former member AMLO wants to resucitate if not by election, then by force.
ah. And I don't know what kind of mind can think of Mexico as a state of the US. Mexico is a country! so, that proves me that to some Americans they really would if they could take all of Mexico (without the Mexicans of course), haven't you had enough taking more than our half? Oh no, but USA imperialists? oh no, who could say that!
Third: The situation in Mexico is very dangerous because Lopez Obrador will not stop to anything! If he can't make it the right way he is gonna take it by force one way or the other, and he is using the ignorant and poor portions of the populations in it. I think that his strategy is to dismember the mexican government and then claim the spoils. Classic of dictators and fascists.

Hi there... I'm mexican and I'd like to say a few things 'bout my country and the past elections...

#1 I find it insulting for people to believe that, because we are a third world country, we don't matter... world economy relies on ALL THE WORLD... if one country suffers any kind of social, political, economical collapse... stock markets worldwide suffer in one way or the other...

#2 yeah, there is corruption (in the goverment, within the institutions and the people) but this is no novelty when it comes to politics in any country in the world... narcs are big money carriers and many politicians owe favors to them, but so do many small-time dealers some people talk about (the oppressed minority?)

#3 there is a lot of poverty in this country, it is a sad reminder of an uneducated past, and of the myth of 'daddy goverment' (goverment fixes everything, you just have to sit tight... blabla) this is what the former PRI used to brag about (1930s. 1950s...) and this is what AMLO is currently vouching for (in an indirect way, but try reading into his speeches and you'll get my point) trying to convince the lower classes that they would get more money, more pay... (that would be great, but sadly it is not sustainable by the economy or any investment...)

#4 The north and the south in my country are completely different when it comes to customs... northerners are better known as hardworkers, curt and tough... southerners are better known as happy-go-lucky, easygoing... and sometimes lazy (not always true) but that has a lot to do with weather conditions, the north is like a desert, the south is filled with beautiful vegetation and many survive by taking what they need from any tree they find... a luxury not seen in the north... (myths with a bit of truth in them)

#5 MOST (if not all) of the demonstrations that vouch for political division and create a shadow of chaos in our country come from Andres Manuel and his followers, the sad thing is not the fact that this guy has contradicted himself so much in the past and now he is doing it again, no, the sad thing is that people still follow him... I used to think that the campaign that said that he was a danger to México was an exaggeration, but now I believe that, sadly, they were right...

#6 I believe in the institutions and the people (common citizens like me) that counted our votes, I believe that this election was fair, we saw the numbers and we saw the ife webpage... we followed the whole thing and I for myself see no frauds compared to those perpetrated 20 years ago... hopefully Im right.

#7 Inform yourselves, there is no absolute truth, no absolute good... but there are facts, and they might help us make the best decision...

In Mexico it is a rich country of many natural resources and would be a great asset as another state to the United States.
However, it has a few very wealthy drug lords who run the place and are very cruel to the majority of hard working people who live there in extreme poverty.
The few rich run the government and let the poor starve in the streets and beg to stay alive. The government is corrupt and should if any country should be over thrown.
