Have you ever had a really intense dream or nightmare that could have been a Hollywood script, but it faded?

I always have movie like nightmares that I know would make such a box office hit, but I can't seem to remember the details shortly after awakening. Any advice?

This is a story Alfred Hitchcock once told: There's a director/screenwriter who has the same dream every night and when he wakes up it's gone. He then decides to put pencil and paper on his bedside locker to write down the dream once he's finished dreaming. He succeeds. When he wakes up the next morning he's eager to read what he's written - it is: "Boy Meets Girl."
But seriously: Before you fall asleep, repeatedly tell yourself that you will remember your dreams - sometimes this helps (needs some practice). If possible - do NOT set the alarm clock - your dreams won't fade that fast when you're not forced to wake up. Stay in bed a while and try to recapitulate - but not too strained - let the thoughts flow. Association is the key to success in this case.

Always have a pen and notepad next to ur bed so when u do wake up u can write it down write away. If u did that for every dream that u had u could eventually tie them all together to make an evn better story line.

Yeah.I'm sure that everyone has at one time or another. Like dreams that make you never want to wake up because you know you can never experience anything as awesome as that in real life.

Yes, but now I write them down immediately upon waking up, even if it is 3 am. I need to get a notebook titled 'Dreams'

Film is something I wanna get more into one day soon.

yes i had it ,but 2 or 3 hours after wake up i forgot it completly.
