She's been complaining about our toaster for a year.

I bought her a very expensive toaster for an anniversary gift. She won't talk to me now. What does she really want?

HOW DARE YOU giving her a household appliance for your 10 year anniversary? I'm sure that she was expecting something meaningful and romantic for you as 10 years is an important milestone.

Youa re such a j erk, she is right for being upset..

What do you need? Romance 101?

Quick, go to your local florist buy her an EXPENSIVE arrangement, make reservations in the best restaurant in town, shave and dress up. Yes, you, rude idiot! Buy her a piece of jelwery TODAY. Don;t wait till tomorrow if you want to live to tell the tale.

There is still time to make up for your MISTAKE! Play it off that you were just tryimg to cover up for your special date that you had planeed all along.

Good luck ( you are going to need it)

Ha! zippythesims... that was good.

Sweety, the toaster is a necessary item. Not an anniversary gift or any gift for that matter. Dinner and a movie or gift certificate for a massage or flowers and a bottle of wine and some candles lit or anything more personable and romantic is a better gift. Man, I've gotten more romantic gifts from just guy friends!

As a wife myself, I can honestly say that a toaster is NOT a good anniversary gift. That qualifies as a must buy due to needing a new one, not because you are trying to show her your value of her on your special day. You basically told her, buy giving her the toaster, that her value, TO YOU, lies in her role in the kitchen....BIG MISTAKE!!!! If I were YOU, I would think of something SPECIAL to do with her to make up for it and QUICK! I would also appologize for what that toaster, as an anniversary gift, symbolizes and tell her that , to you, it does represent ANYTHING having to do with the value you place on her as part of your life. This is your BEST bet! Good luck! Hope this helped...I would suggest that instead of buying gifts for special events or holidays from now on, either do something special with her or get her gift certificates so she can pick her own gift..this one obviously did not sit well with her at all!

who would want a toaster for an anniversary gift anyway? You should have let her buy the toaster on her own. I can see why she might find you insensitive to her needs. Get a clue, bud!

You get a toaster as a holiday gift, not for your anniversary! Try surprising her for a trip for 2 somewhere special. She won't hate you then. Good luck!

LOL!! How much was the toaster worth, 10 bucks? Dude, it has been a year since you did this guffaw and you still do not get it. Wise up and give her something that shows how much you care and appreciate the fact that she is spending her life with you, even though you are an idiot.

Some serious attention. That would include a candlelight dinner, a bubble bath, massage, and some long loving. A nice diamond wouldn't hurt. "An expensive toaster", are you serious?
