Drinking water alone will not clear up your acne, however it is essential for clean skin and your overall health. Water is essential for carrying waste material out of your body. Water is also the primary transporter of nutrients throughout your body. If not enough water is consumed, toxins can build up and promote breakouts. Water helps flush these toxins out.

Water is very good for you and helps clean out the pores. I would suggest cleansing with a good acne wash. Something with salicylic acid in it to kill the bacteria. When I was a teen, I broke out often. My biggest downfall was picking at them. I know it's hard to leave them alone, but that is best. If you notice any getting a whitehead on them, try to apply a warm, wet washcloth until the pimple expels the pus on its own. Do not use your fingernails. You could use a Q-tip on each side and press gently. Usually, once the pus comes out, it heals pretty quick.

It does help clear out some of your acne, but if you want to get the pimples off your face faster try cleaning your face every day with a soft damp, warm rag, and if you want some soap, it will help cleanse your pores, and your acne will be gone in no time.
