Now this is a trick question because there are a lot of different deadly animals, it all depends on what type of animal that you are talking about.
Let me give an sample: You have deadly cats, Then there are deadly snakes and let's not forget the great big Monkeys, Apes, Wolfs, All types of deadly animals, What about the animals in the water?
But my pick would have to be in the cat family, and I pick the Tiger

Scientists say that the mosquito is actually the deadliest. Most skeeter bites just make you itch. But some mosquitoes carry and transfer malaria causing parasites. As a result, these little pests are responsible for the deaths of more than two million people a year.

The poison arrow frog and certain salamanders would have to top most people's list of "The World's Most Poisonous Animals." Just two micrograms of toxin from the poison arrow frog is enough to kill a human. A "microgram" is a very small amount. The ink in the period at the end of this sentence will weigh around six micrograms.

You have to define "deadly."
Responsible for the greatest loss of life, both human and animals? Man is definitely the deadliest.
Most likely to kill you if you encounter it? Hmmmm.... that's more difficult. Most species as a whole (there are always those rogue individuals) won't kill you or try to kill you whenever they encounter you. But the "most likely to attack and kill a human" would probably be the hippopotamus. Seriously... just look it up!

Every shmo is going to say man or humans, but sadly they are wrong. In the Ocean it is the Great White Shark. In colder climates it is the wolf in warmer climates it is going to be a South African Puff Adder. Animals are not sentient beings, we are.
