Looking to start a band in central wisconsin in 07?

Hey,
I'm Sarah. Anyone out there that would be interested in starting a christian rock/pop style band in wisconsin or knows of some one who is starting one? I love to sing and I play some accoustic guitar, willing to learn new things. Can do some back up vocals or lead. Preferable would want to start out with younger performers 17- 25 I want to try to go professional sooner or later, but right now I am working on finishing up school this year. Right now I'm seventeen, be eighteen in november. any tips, pointers, welcome.

Place an add in the newspaper, and ask some friends that you know are musically talented. Email Melender! You should get started in no time! Also, be sure to keep your eyes open for the gigs. Make sure you have a drummer, bass guitar, lead guitar, rythm guitar, and vocals; all the essentials to a band. Hope this helps!!!

If I was in wisconsin, you'd have a drummer, I'd play anything lol. But for tips, a lot of the younger performers aren't too serious about it, start off slow, just have some fun. I'm dealing with that right now, I'm 18, and would love to get a serious gig going, but none my age really want that, so it's tough sometimes to get a good show going.
