From a Western perspective, it is child abuse to indoctrinate children from toddlerhood to become a martyr (shaheed).

From the Islamic perspective there is no greater honor or glory than to be a shaheed. Mothers are proud of their children when they become shaheeds because the children are assured a special place in Jannah (Heaven.)

It does seem like some Muslims hate Israel or the US or the West or Non-Muslims or modern society or ??? than they love their children. It is truly a sad situation that I do not understand.

Hey Dan - I believe it was Great Britain that gave Israel a homeland not the US. Also Palestine did not exist as a nation then. The area was sparsely inhabited mainly by many nomadic groups. Basically a no mans land.

Hey irbid_mix - I do not condone what Israel is doing currently. Yes even non-Muslims are being injured. However Hezbollah is basically using civilians as human shields, a common tactic used by radical Islamists & terrorists.
An interesting fact is that Lebanon's population a few decades ago was mainly Christian. What happened? Many Christian Lebonese moved out becuase they were harrased or murdered by their Muslim neighbors.

mo_rashad - you state that Israelis should move to a neighbrohood where they are liked... that could be applied also to the hate filled groups in Lebanon & Palestine. Why don't they all move to Iran or some other Islamic nation.


This is a very complicated many decades war with no simple solutions or easily identified good guys or bad guys.

No, I do not agree that they hate Israel more than they love their children, and not only Muslims are suffering from Israel's aggression. there are a lot of Christians living in Lebanon and Palestine, who lost their loved ones exactly the same as Muslims did, I think Arabs are fed up with what Israel is doing everyday in Gaza and Lebanon, their children are dying from Israel anyway, there are children killed everyday , shot and injured, how can a parent forget that?

She's Jewish and her brother lives in Israel. uncertain the place you're getting your concepts yet maximum folk, even Jewish human beings, can separate their classic emotions for the land of Israel from the movements of the present government of Israel.

Nice Israelis are continuing to kill innocent people for no reason other than they are scared to death from a small group fighting them in Lebanon.

Jews are Muslims' neghbors and I beleive as a Muslim that we don't deserve to be their neighbors so I suggest they move to another neighborhood that deserves them. say part of NJ or NY for example where they will be surrounded by people who love them.

First of all, you can't judge all muslims together just because of their religion. They are different individuals with differnt thoughts.
Secondly, who are you to know what to compare their "hate" to anything.
Thirdly, i think your just ignorant and what to spread hatred between people based on your own opinions.

agree...partly....in other countries terrible things happen to children and they have learned to deal with the loss of their children and they are fighting for what they believe is going to better their lives for whatever children the do have...I was just reading an article yesterday in glamour mag about children who are sold at 5yrs old as sex slaves...this one girl was sold at five for the equivilent of 10 us dollars, she tells of how she grabbed her mothers ankles and held on for dear life not to let the stranges take her and her mother just walked away...this girl was sold to a man who raped her repeadetly until she passed out and then he returned her to the brothel where her pimps stuck chili peppers down there and beat her and then stuck her in a chicken cage...the other girls there were also sold or just plain kidnapped...pimps beat women and take their children...for the next three years she had up to 30 johns a day...people know that is what they are doing to their children and they dont care as long as they can survive...how could you sell your child at 5 yrs old as a sex slave....I cried at my desk at work for an hour over that story ripped my heart right out.....many of them are trying to protect their children from letting that happen again...they are fighting for their land
