we are tired of being mistaken for one another , should one of us consider a complete makeover, when people meet either one , it's alway's which one is it ?

I'm sure it can also be a positive thing - there's certainly occasions when I could just do with an identical twin. Try to enjoy it and appreciate your twin, not everyone has what you have got, just wear different coloured clothes when out and about together, have different hairstyles if necessary .. anything small and simple, just so that people can distinguish between you without either of you having to really alter your natural appearance which I do think would be a real shame.

It would be unfair for one of you to have to change what you have always been. Instead of one of you having a makeover to look different from the other, why not BOTH have something done that makes you both different from what most people recognise you both for. ie, if you are both brunette, why not one of you go blonde the other redhead.
Look at the style of clothes you both wear and both go for something different. There are several things that stand out in twins that can be varied for this effect. Both try wearing different colour contact lens.

wel its up 2 u 2 why dont you both go for a change but go together that way do something u both like and being twins give each other advice on. Dont do anything dramatic like a pirercing or tattoo that you could regret later perhaps different hair style or colour or perhaps you both like different clothes. I knew 2 identical but little characteristics and their hair helped me know which 1 was which.

Only if you want to. If a person cares enough about you then they will learn to tell the difference on site. I can easily tell my aunts and sons apart. (but I am their mother) Some people, and you can tell who they are, just won't bother to learn the difference. My sons were in separate classes. They were always wandering of to the other's class or switching. Andrew's teacher never noticed the difference. Alex's teacher always did. For the people that don't bother, why should you bother making it any easier for them?

There are a pair of twins that live near me, one of them always has a black theme going on and the other one has a white theme going on, don't know if its down to personal taste or if they do it on purpose but its a suggestion!
