Back in January of this year, Morgan Freeman stated that he thinks that we shouldn't place so much emphasis on Black History month, because it causes people to continue to harbor negative feelings about slavery, etc. At least, I think that was what he said- by all means, correct me if this is inaccurate.

Well, what do you think about this idea? Do you think Morgan Freeman has a point? I agree with him. I think that we have to let go of the past, or we will continue to have a victim mentality about things. Lots of societies in history have been slave societies- and, mind you, I know what you are thinking- I am not saying that just because slavery has existed a long time that it is okay! But the truth is that Irish people were enslaved by the British, and the ancient Greeks had slaves, and the Egyptians enslaved the Hebrew people, et cetera. Still, we have to leave the past behind- don't you think?

Please explain your point of view, where you agree or no. Thank you.

I agree with you, everyone needs to let go of the past mistakes and look to the future with positive aspects on life, but unfortunately there will be a lot of people that wll hate Morgan Freeman for stating his opinions... They will call him a bigot forgetting about Black History, but that's not the poin though.. he didn't forget Black History, all he's saying is people just need to let go of the past, and let us all grow to help each other no matter what race we are as a whole..ASAP.

some are and a few are not. you are able to nonetheless no longer make a blanket fact approximately all women folk of any race. attractiveness is carefully subjective and in the attention of the beholder. lots of the human beings listed under are being very stereotypical, even people who're being complimentary. All black women folk have not got extensive noses or thick lips or the comparable texture of hair or sparkling epidermis or massive butts or perhaps dark epidermis. the large majority of black individuals are mixed race in spite of in the event that they do no longer seem to be to you - that's explanation why maximum black individuals do no longer look like Africans. i do no longer understand what women folk people who've spoken on own hygiene are putting around yet perhaps you ought to discover a greater effectual style of folk to affiliate with.
