Yahoo. Started there first and just never changed over. I am used to it and besides, I like it!

Google is currently the best search engine. But yahoo is great for other things like yahoo answers and groups.

If you're looking for something for which you expect few hits, like a friend who has an unusual name, Google is better because it catches more obscure pages. If you want the best information on a common topic, like lung cancer, Yahoo is better because it has humans who actually visit the sites and categorize and rank them.

Why? More hits, better summaries, better listings, better ads, better layout, they correct your spelling, give you tips.
