Why do some people ask the same question more than once?

and its a waste of points but i think they just want people to pay attention to their question u no how it is on yahoo, u ask a question and its on the top of the page but after two seconds new questions were on the top and yours were like way down at the bottom and people would just look at the top ones cuz the words r really big so some people just want lots of answers by asking a same question more than once
