how does one go about erasing the recent search's from the yahoo search engine?

If you meant to get rid of the autocomplete?, then do this:
In IE:
Tools
Internet Options
Content
Autocomplete
Uncheck as needed

were you lookin at porn? lol, if you have the yahoo toolbar, clck the little yellow pencil and then click clear search history
