I am a religious Lesbian and just know what they say is not the truth. Send them to sights that teach them and some day they may learn.

You know, its hard sometimes. I'm both gay and Christian, and luckly I come from a faith tradition that doesn't see those two things as being inconsistent.
But sometimes on here, I feel as though EVERYBODY is against me. You kind asker, sound as though you've been hurt by the church, and for that, I am hurt as well. I wonder if you didn't care about God and religion, would it bother you so much.
I don't want to shove anything down anybody's throat, but, I urge those of you who have loved God and been convinced by a church or faith tradition that your sexuality is incompatable with God's love, to look elsewhere for a community of faith that will embrace you.

AGREED.
The church is full of bigots who hide behind their so-called "Christian love" and who pretend that they want to lead you to the Lord.
Beware! $$$ plays a big factor in this, plus once they get you, you will never be able to think for yourself again. You will have to conform to their beliefs -- whether or not you can accept everything that you are told. If you don't go along with everything they tell you, they will taunt you by telling you that you are going to go to hell.
It is all based on intimidation and control. Fore-warned is fore-armed.

You seem to be just as eager to tell someone that you don't believe in God as someone who wants to tell you that they believe in God. So who is better? Apparently the messages are for the ones who read them and understand. Choose a side and live with it, express or don't express it.
Good Luck!

i agree with you but some think that all they have to do. I personal don't make anybody talk about religion if they don't want to.
I do think that there are too many to use religion to get there point across but i think we should all be able to use our own opinion.
you have a good point and keep it up
