yes 6 qrts should do it, but you didnt say if you just dropped the pan and need to top off or if you drained the torque converter too. If so you can add more than 6 qrts. best to start with 4 and check the level on level ground. warm the car up and put the trans through all the gears to circulate and remove air pockets. Drive the trans until hot and check the level again. Add as needed and drive the car again and check level one more time on level ground with the engine running. Add as needed.

8-9 pints, which equals about 4 1/2 quarts. I recommend that YOU DO NOT overfill the tranny, as it will create aeration of the fluid, also could blow out seals. I have a 1968 Chevy C10 with a TH400, it follows the same maintenance schedule as that of the TH350.

Put in 4 quarts, start the motor.set the em brake, place your foot on the brake, go thru the gears, 20 to 30 seconds in every one, park 30sec,reverse 30 sec, N 30 ect. then put in park , with motor running check trans dip stick and top off.

start by adding 4 quarts with the engine off, then crank engine and run through gears. then add 2 more quarts. This should put you at the full mark.

Depends on how you drained it out, start with five quarts then start engine and check fluid, you may have to add another quart.

it will take about 6 quarts and dont worry about over filling because they have an overflow in them or at least the older models did
