it's never been publically confirmed. but he was supposed to get a storyline where he was a bi and was involved in a love triangle with a real life "friend". He was release because he had his "unauthorized friend" backstage with him on the road. So he has not come out and said it but it is suspected. It is well known that chris canyon was gay and he believes that he was released because of his sexuality. It could be very posible that the WWE release him for the same reason.

No, the reason why he was fired from the WWE was because he turned down a gimmick to PLAY a bisexual role and have Trinity(ECW Vixen) as his manager.
