Ignorance is the root of all evil. Therefore knowledge defeats it and is a foundation for goodness. It is said that we can only love what we know and it may be then that we hate because we do not truly know that which we hate.

I believe that love and hate cannot co-exist in the one heart - either we truly love or we truly hate, never truly both at the same time for each is all consuming.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing but it's worth the risk!

What is the essence of good but that which is in harmony with the true essence and what is the essential truth but virtue and merit. If it is thus then evil is that which deliberately hamper or compromises the want of good!
