Liberals - hate defending this country - it really irks them that all this money, being used for the defense of freedom, isn't being thrown away into give aways - that the government should be bribing crappy construction companies to build public housing that the people who live in will turn into crack houses... Ever see your average public housing project - the lack of ownership is quite evident. Liberals would much rather throw away so they can say that they are doing something...

Yours is the exact line of thinking that has created the culture of dependency and entitlement in American society. People used to do just about everything for themselves, but now they whine to the government to do it for them. Many people believe now that the government owes them a living, and they shouldn't have to do anything for themselves, or take responsibility for their actions. This attitude is a plague on society; we have to reverse it before things will truly improve in America.
