because some guys are very insecure within themselves thats why they have back up other than tryin to be themselves they try and prove to their friends something... And if a guy gives their heart to a female the become protective and jealous and normally when a person is doing wrong they start to point the finger at the other person (giving themselves up) because the sayin is true when you point you have 3 fingers pointing back its called guilt and you can't ok guilt without blame.....

Girls think guys have a backup because they are insecure and vice versa.
Guys dont want to feel 'left out' of the 'game' and since I am a guy, I can only speak for what guys think. Because I have gone through the whole cycle.
See it is like this, When a guy feels (fears) that he is going to go out of 'business' he starts 'honeying' with nearest PYT.
Not that it always works, but guys always love the 'thrill of the chase'. Thats why.
If you feel that the relationship will not work, then make a concerted and mutually agreeable breakup and make sure that you are clear to eachother. Dont be in the 'Ross Rachel' kind of a relationship ( would be funny on TV, but is really messy in real life )
But all said and done, make sure you make your own mistakes and learn from it.

back up in case the girl he's with can't get to certain places he wishes to attend to or simply because his back up girl happens to put out.when the gf have the back up we are looked as whore and we are cheating because it's the most natural way a male will deal with his issues.issues of insecurity,lack of trust, and the fact the are cheating on you it's them up and they don't have big even balls to let you know they were just with other one.it's double standard.get over it - live life!

guys stay guys even though they have already one still theyre not contented they still want more and is no cheating in tha process.but when the girl have one then she is cheater i dont know is unfair very unfair
