I think we should start by buying Canada then pursue Mexico because Mexican people migrate here anyway and wouldn't have to if it was th U.S. . And then Maybe South America. I would quit there though because I wouldn't want a one world government (that'd be really screwed up). But will the world ever unite as one peacefully?

Should we buy more land?

Bill gates could buy it for us. Why didn't HE make his own country.

Hmm... it'd be weird to add more to this country. I've got plenty to visit as it is!

No, no, i think it's a VERY good thing America has gotten over it's little manifest destiny obsession....or have they? Well, we'll see... I don't think Canada is ready to start feeding itself into the American Machine, but if we want to sell any northern islands, you can buy it...if you bid a higher amount than Russia! And, you know, if Quebec separates, the Maritimes will most likely become the 50-whateverth state. Whoop, beer lobster and freezing cold icescapes, all yours for a few billion. I'd say it's a deal! Let's hope it never happens...
World peace is a myth, a fable, a dream. And America buying more land will only lead us farther away, methinks.

The US already has lots of land, I don't really see the need for more. I say if we just impose stricter illegal immigrations laws and enforce them well we'll get rid of the illegal immigration problem coming out of Mexico.

But of course buying land is the better solution than going to war if you're also curious about that. Like the Louisiana Purchase was great because we didn't go to war and we got a big chunk of land for just a lot of money. It was a win-win situation.

if we buy Mexico then we would have more poverty than what the u.s. already has. if we buy Canada then we would have a lot of people that wouldn't support any kind of military what so ever so we wouldn't get much help out of them. i think the u.s. is just fine right now. although gaining more territories might be a little helpful in the long run.

1) No more land was for sale.
2) If Canada & Mexico were for sale, we'd buy it if only for the oil weath, but they're not selling.
3) One world government is a fine idea.

I don't think you can buy things that aren't for sale! The Louisiana Purchase was a rare and unique opportunity for our country and probably one of the most civilized switching of sovreignship in the history of the world. Hmm sounds like a good thesis . . .
