I have a bunny who doesn't do anything, she used to play and eat very good, but now she just sits in the corner doing nothing not eating just sleeping. It's been 5 days now since she's been doing that. I bought her a little more than a week ago, and she's about 9-weeks old.

First off, if she isn't eating, that is one of the first signs of a sick animal. Is her food fresh? Are her bowls cleaned? Is there anything in her crate that she may have eaten that has her belly upset? Did you move her surroundings? Are you offering carrots? Never give a rabbit cold lettuce from the fridge. This is not good for bunnies. Use fresh leaf lettuce and let is reach room temperature before feeding it to her. They also love dandelions and fresh pulled grass (without any chemicals added). Also they love "Yogurt Drops" which you can buy in the small animal section of your pet store. If she doesn't eat for 24 hours, I would call your vet for a bunny appointment. Better safe than bunny-less

Hopefully she's an indoor rabbit. If not she could be suffering from weather related illness or flystrike. If she's indoors she could very well be sick. If you take her to the vet and shes ok she's probably bored and lonely. Rabbits are social animals and need companionship. I suggest that you fix her and get her a nuetered male friend. Female rabbits have a very high cancer rate if unspayed. You can contact the House Rabbit Society for bunny dates. Also, do you have any toys for her to play with? Rabbits like untreated wicker baskets, paper towel tubes with hay in them, plastic jingle balls, hard plastic baby keys and dried apple branches.

If she is not eating, she could have a blockage or think she is pregnant. Take her to the vet and they will help her, the same thing happened with my rabbit, if she is not spayed or neutered you should have that done, it will help prevent many future diseases and will let her continue to eat. When you bring her to the vet they may have to keep her for a couple days. Good luck, and don't worry she will be fine :)

is there anything that made her sad or depressed? maybe she needs a friend or companion. was she in the cage with another rabbit when you bought her? maybe she misses her companion, if this continues maybe you should buy that rabbit for her. desperate times call for desperate measures.
