If the album is good and truly a riding CD, I will buy the CD but albums are not good anymore so I downloaded the best songs and put them together as a compilation. At least I can listen to the whole cd w/o skipping over or programming to play a certain way. Plus, most artists' album sales do not make them rich, concerts and tours do unless u are Kanye, Pharrell, Diddy or someone who produces their own music.

I do. I discover so many songs that I never would have know about otherwise. I listen to the whole CD after I buy it and find songs that the artist may not release as a single. I think if more people did this the radio wouldn't keep playing the same 5 songs all day long.

If my favorite band or artist puts out an album i'll buy it. But now days there is just like one or two good songs on a cd now. soo why pay 18 bucks for a cd with one or two songs on it u like and the rest of the cd is crap. Its much cheaper to burn cds and find a bunch of songs by different people u love the to get one cd by one band with 1 or 2 great songs on it.

I always try to buy the cds.. Because in my opinion the artist gives you the music and you have to give them something... With buying the cd I feel like saying" Thank You" to the artist for doing such great music...
I really love buying cds..

I completely agree with you. I think If I really liked an artist I would want them to have high record sells, because I think that it gives the artist more respect, the higher there albums is on the charts.
