The terrorist threat must be ended even if it breaks our economy....what good is a strong economy if a nuclear bomb is detonated in Manhattan.
After 9/11 Americans both Democrat and Republican gave President Bush a standing ovation when he said,"If a nation aids, supports, or harbors a terrorist organization then they will feel the might of the United States of America.".If we force the Israeli's to have a cease fire what does that say about our resolve to fight the war on terror.Hezbollah and Ham-mas are the crux of the terrorist problem in the fulcrum point of the world where all Muslim Extremist fuel their hate. I say hit 'em where their heart is. Then we can cut off the head by sanctioning Iran and Syria.
Secondly we can return to behind our borders and return power back to the states as this country was supposed to be run. Billions wasted could be distributed and each state could have there own watch dog agency to be sure the money goes to where it is needed.Let's face it both parties stink.

What you don't understand is that the deficit is a scam. It is fiction on paper in order to further the needs of the politician. It is not real, anymore than the "Social Security Trust Fund" is real.

The economics of the Federal Government is not the same as the State Governments or even your own household budget. Unless you really understand how the Feds work this scam, then it is pointless to discuss. The Deficit is an illusion created to quietly devalue the currency (to make our economy stable) and to give the average person the feeling that Federal economics is somewhat similar to the Household economics that citizens face everyday. This allows the masses to be more easily manipulated for social purposes.

And yes, they should all be in jail for it.

Hey Super Dude this is all by design. The American economy is a false economy made to strangle the very taxpayer it's supposed to represent.

The only way the Neo-Cons can bring about their fascist intentions is to shoot the wad, spend it all, and what better way than a global tirade.

And when it all goes bust, and it will, you can think of (Jorge Arbusto).

We can't. Here's the thinking that got us there:

'Former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill was told "deficits don't matter" when he warned of a looming fiscal crisis.'

'O'Neill, fired in a shakeup of Bush's economic team in December 2002, raised objections to a new round of tax cuts and said the president balked at his more aggressive plan to combat corporate crime after a string of accounting scandals because of opposition from "the corporate crowd," a key constituency.'

'O'Neill said he tried to warn Vice President Dick Cheney that growing budget deficits-expected to top $500 billion this fiscal year alone-posed a threat to the economy. Cheney cut him off. "You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don't matter," he said, according to excerpts.'

Sooner or later these deficits will undermine confidence in our economy here and abroad. Someday everybody is going to want to cash in all their T bills and move all their money into Euros. Then we will be screwed. That's when deficits will matter.

I agree. But it won't happen. When we run too low on oil and our economy collapses entirely, the starving masses will join radical political groups in desperation and these guys will be hunted down and killed. Can't happen? Read your world history books. Starving depressions make people desperate enough to do anything.
