Like everyone else is saying start at school you sound to young to be in high school and most middle schools dont do plays so once you get to high school take all the acting classes you can
If you get a lead people will notice you and youll get your name out there

also look on the internet for theatres in your area and see what shows and when auditions are.when you find some shows thats there are going to be auditions for look up the play on the internet and see if there are any parts a kid could play..if so audition

Good Luck!

I live in the metro detroit area and there are tons of community theaters. As many others said, look at your school first, and then for the summers look for youth theater productions. Since I don't know where you are in michigan, I can't give you any specific names. Do some searches. The largest collection of community theaters in metro detroit (west side) is compiled of the Dearborn Players Guild, Dearborn Heights Civic Theater, West SIde theater project and a couple others, plus we involve the high schools.

Honestly, just ask you're english/drama teacher. They'll be able to help.

I agree you should try acting in school and community theater productions. Without professional experience, it's unlikely that you can get an agent.

You can sign up for acting classes and stuff like that usually at a community cultural arts center.

Ask your agent or manager to submit you for auditions in your area. Your acting teacher may also know of auditions.

Since your thirteen the best place for you to start is in your school and community. Be very active in your school theatre department and look into community theatres to help you get the experience you need.
