I'm sorry Joe but you lack something that made Liverpool a great team for many decades. You have not got the great Scottish players that were always at the heart of the side. OK our fault, we're just not producing them any more but you can go back generations and they were always there. Not forgetting a manager or two!!

God bless you Shanks, I hope you're still playing for your old team the Glenbuck Cherrypickers upstairs and showing St Peter how it's done.

I love the line not any crystal ball shite.

it would be great for English football if somebody beats Chelsea, man U and Arsenal.
the thing about Mourhino is that he creates such a level of confidence in his team that they are difficult to beat. he creates this by making public pronouncements of invincibility, however pre season comments have been lacking in ultra confidence and it is an admission of defeat (Champions league wise) that he has brought in superstars.
If someone can beat or get ahead of Chelsea early doors ( like with arsenal after they lost to Man U) that confidence could crack. it could be Liverpool, or it could be tottenham even, it just needs someone to have a great start.

Do you mean the Champions league? If so, I doubt it. they stand an outside chance of winning the Premiership, but although I would love them to win everything they enter, I don't think they will.

They are arguably the most successful team of the last 6 years having won every cup available except for the premiership and the world clubs cup.

They have won:

FA cup
Worthington cup
Champions League cup (keeping it)
UEFA cup
Charity Shield
European Super Cup.

Chelsea and Man Utd cannot make that claim

Chelsea has to be the favorite to win it all. Just too much talent and depth for a long season. The real fun will be the race for second place between Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and maybe Tottenham.
So, to answer your question, no.

it's gonna be hard
the competition very tight right now, ManUtd came with new forces and that's dangerous...
Chelsea, they collect many great players (even though it's not guarantee...i mean Michael Ballack could shine on in his last team but who knows in premier league??)
Arsenal had recovered his team, they lost their defenders at beginnig of season and that will b a trouble...
Liverpool had chance, thay had a great squad and great players...they just need some luck =) i hope they will win this league! =)
