Your best bet is at a local YMCA. Most have not only childcare centers but also "child watch" where they watch the kids of members working out at the gym. They'll most likely love to have someone to play with the kids and such.

Also...it's spelled-volunteer!

(also, you also might like a retirement resort. They love for peole to come read with them and play games and best of all....they rarely vomit on you!)

No, most can't have volunteers and such because they usually need someone certified in childcare, and a volunteer is not that.
