On September the thirtieth, at 3pm, Hearts play Dundee United (not Dundee, they're in Division One) in a league game. Is this the match you intend to visit? If so, you'll need to find your way to Tynecastle, which isn't difficult. If you reach Edinburgh by train, it's best to get out at Haymarket station, and walk onto Gorgie Road to your right. From here, Lothian buses 3, 3a, 25 and 33 will get you there in less than ten minutes. It's a twenty minute walk otherwise. The stadium is almost hidden, to the right of the street - but follow the maroon shirts and you'll be ok. Unless you're wearing Glaswegian, Dundee or Hibernian colours, that is.

Hi.
If memory serves me right. Bus numbers 25, 3, 3A ,and 33 all go past Tynecastle. The other stadium you may be thinking off would be Easter Road, home of Hibernian. Don't go there with Heart of Midlothian Colours on. Edinburgh rivals. Depending on where you are in the city center, these buses would be best boarded on Princess Street. Ask the driver to let you off at Tynecastle.

Hope this helps
