Have an expert look at it. I think you will find it to be worth about 1/100th of a dollar.

No.

1966 pennies had no mint marks, from 1965 to 1967 the government banned mintmarks they reintroduced them in 1968.

That means it is from philly. From 1965-1970 all pennies were missing the mint mark.

I think I'd take it to a coin person. Someone who can put a value on it. It might be a penny but it's probably worth some cash! Good for you!

I agree with the above...sounds like it came from the Philadelphia Mint.

Keep it in mint condition. It might not have any value now, but in 20 years that may change.
