Hi there....I have a question I am hoping people can help me with. Sometimes when I connect, my double pc icon does not show up in the task bar but I will still be connected-can tell by listening to the phone. However, even though I am connected, I cannot get onto the net-it will tell me page not available, or with my IM it just will not work. I cannot shut my pc down or restart it either-I have to actually unplug it to restart it. I do not have any viruses-I do have a virus program that seems to be pretty good. I contacted my isp and they just tell me bring it in.....so I am hoping that someone out there can help me!! If you have any additional questions-just ask them and I will post again. call your internet provider. They will help you get up and running to the best it can be. They can't expect you to pay when their service doesn't work. Even if the problem is with settings etc. in your PC, they will help you. Fooling around on your own could make things worse... so call them!

I agree w. pappy. you should not have to pay if you are not getting correct service. Be mean w/ them.

it's dial-up..... what can you do. just call the company or maybe it's that you need new phone line.
