Price just depends on the company that puts it out. There are good cheap kinds and crappy expensive kinds. Use a foundation that is oil-free and contains sunscreen...the sunscreen will help prevent aging. Use powder that doesn't contain corn or rice starch, as this can aggravate acne. Neutrogena's and Almay's products are good drugstore brands; Clinique and Lancome are good department store brands.

Cheap makeup tends to damage your skin more and some cheap foundations don't let the skin breathe, which can later lead to acne.
Expensive makeup goes on your skin much more smoothly, and is actually lighter. Like Christian Dior's Diorshow Powder. Remember if you're going to pay for a product, you might as well buy the best, after all it is your skin!

Time and time again, I have heard that Bare Minerals is probably the best powder to go with. Not only does it provide a good finish, but can eliminate blemishes and make you look less oily and shiny. I think it cost about $30 and you can look it up online by googling it. I'd also consider going to Sephora.com or your local Sephora store. They have a large array of anything from creams to powders and can assist you with whatever you need. P.S. I'd recommend that you go with something that cost quite a bit more than anything you can find in your local drug store. Not only will it look better on you, but will probably be less likely to dry out. I truly believe that you get what you pay for. If you want something that is going to last a long time and is going to provide the best results, its best to spend a little more. That's just my suggestion. Good luck in your search for good makeup!

It depends how you want to look but I would recommend thebetter kind of make up will always be the one that is valued price a little higher than the rest. There is a saying that goes: The cheaper it is the more you have to buy! I have used:

Some things dont really matter. Eyeliner and gloss are two things you should save money on, because there is no difference between the cheap and high end ones. Same goes for powder. But DONT go cheap on eyeshadows, moisturizers. foundation, and mascara. There's a serious difference in quality and your better of splurging.

It doesnt matter as long as it is applied as much and as thick as possible! Foundation then powder until it comes off on your bf jacketto. Dont worry about your face Im sure you are beautifull anyway. Dont worry about expense the cheeper it is the more you can put on! Cost is all in the marketing. Apply very thick cheap makeup its all good just look gorgeous.

I don't think there really is much of a difference, to be honest. Just what works with your coloring and skin type. When I was growing up I love Maybelline foundation. Just make sure you wash your face each night and morning and it's never too early to use a moisturizer. Also realize that as you get older, your skin type may change. If you're prone to breakouts, then use oil free makeup & moisturizers.
