What is GFX?

I really don't get what it is. I need to know what it is, and a brief summary of what it does.

GFX - Graphics. People use it instead of the word "graphics".

It's usually an abbreviation of the word "graphics" but it has other meanings as well. Go to Google and search for GFX to see some of them.
