Why those are expensive?

Buy a used one, ppl are selling them all the time.
Make sure it doesn't leak, cheak your local newspaper.
If it does leak, there is gel you can buy that fixes it.

just go to any glass place and they will cut it to the size and shape you want. i got one made for my bosses 6x2x2 by a firm in derby(UK),try a aquatic shop for advice.
