A lot of people give a damn what's going on the Middle East. I have friends I talk to regularly. Whenever we get together, the tension in the Middle East will eventually come up. We are all praying to an end of the violence, and a lasting peace.

Why should we? It's been going on for 4000 years, and will continue to go on for 4000 more. The Arabs hate the Jews and the Jews hate the Arabs. Neither side will be happy until the other side is completely wiped out. Neither side wants peace so long as one member of the other side is living. Both sides are war mongers without honor or morals

As with all generalizations, this one is just not true.
It's not that we don't care, it's just that there is not a thing I can personally do about it. They've been killing each other over there long before I showed up on the planet, they're killing each other now, and they'll be doing it long after I'm gone. They're hell bent on killing one another. It'll be in the news again tomorrow. *yawn*

Because they aren't in the middle east. We should care when anyone Jew or Muslim is being killed.

We do, that is why we have troops there trying to free one nation, and supporting Isreal against what is most likely the worst terror group in the world.
