Recently I met my former best friend of many many years. We started back talking for a few days and I have begun to see the reason why I stopped talking to her. Since we stopped talking once and there was a long period after that (1yr). How can I stop talking to her now before our friendship continues to regrow.

Your question suggests you are trying not to hurt her feelings. Unfortunately I don't think you can stop talking to her and still avoid that. I suggest just outright telling her that you two have grown apart and you don't see the two of you being friends anymore; it will hurt her feelings but will be at least less time consuming than dragging this out and still hurting her feelings in the end.

Why did you stop talking to her? If she was your best friend at one point than you can't dislike her that much. Also if you really do dislike her stop being fake and pretending to be her friend. She is probably better off without you anyways. It sure sounds like it.

just give her the cold shoulder or just try and advoid her as much as possible. or just go with the flow and maybe this time it'll go diff. but as much as your friendship regrows you won't be as close as before. i've been through that and it was really comfusing and i time that i don't really want to talk about. what i just did was went with th flow, now i'm ok w/ her and we can tlk and everything

That happened to me too... you think you miss these people, until you seem them again! lol
What I did was just stop returning her calls, avoided anywhere I knew she would be, and did not associate myself with any people in her group of friends. Glad I did it too. Hopefully, she'll get the point.

Simply avoid contact with her. Don't take her phone calls, don't answer the door if she comes around. Avoidence is the best method.

First i could tell your mom about it, so she knows that this woman may attempt to call. perhaps you and your mom can determine out a fashion to get her to give up like your mom calling her mom or something? also i could see about blockading her huge style(s) so she will't even get in contact with you. She appears like a creepy man or woman- its one difficulty for teenage ladies to do this even as they are arguing with a chum yet heavily weird and wonderful to be like stalking an ex chum like this once you aren't any further even interior the same state as her anymore? also, it may properly be unlawful so your mom could probably do something legally like harassment costs or maybe with, to get rid of this woman if mandatory.

Just tell her your really busy lately so it is hard for you to talk alot. Cut your phone conversations short.

i know that it may be hard to believe it, but th e more friends you have the better. just try to be friends with her. the nicer yiou are to her the better she will treat you. sont hate other people. it';s bad for the soul.
