Depends on what time of the year you go? Florida is only nice from October through April. It is too hot and humid there the rest of the time. Mexico is good year round as long as you stick to Baja or the Pacific Coast. If you have young children there are a lot of things to do in Florida in the Orlando area. Florida is definetly safer too. You have to be careful in Mexico with the food and water. Stick to the resorts.

Well I have been to Florida and it was the best vacation of my life. I have been a lot of places and that was my favorite. We spent 3 days on the beach in a resort and then we went to Magic Kingdom (kinda kiddish exept for space mountain!!) And Epcot and MGM. (Disney) It was really fun. We also went to Kennedy Space Center. My favorite part was the beach though. My sister and I got our own room and we went parasailing!!! OMG that is an awesome experience. this is the hotel that we stayed at.http://images.travelnow.com/hotelimages/s/037000/037488A.jpg
It was soo much fun because the beach was like 50 ft. from our hotel rooml. We could wakeup and walk down to the beach to see the sunrise and get some shells. And then at night we would sit on these humongous rocks a little farther down from where we were staying and we watched the sunset. One night we even saw 3 dolphins!! It was such a great experience. We went over Spring break. =) You will love it!

Our friends south of the borber have many problems, true enough. But as with most destinations, it depends on where you go.

The west coast is noted for its tourist spots, which are generally clean and relatively safe. But, this is also where you'll find not so friendly people, ard worse yet, not so friendly Federales, if one ventures too far from the beaten path.

But, if Mexico were my destination, the Yucatan penninsula is an often overlooked destination, where one may still find the elements of "Old" Mexico. Off shore is found "Isla Mujeres." I've never visited there, but it is on my list of things to do. Sun in the morning and music at night, where evryone seems to pass by in slow motion.

So, staying away from the border towns of Mexico, restricting movements to "safe" areas of the west coast or venturing eastward to Yucatan, I would think one would have a generally relaxing vacation.

Florida has its appeal of course, and picking the right time of year for a visit there, there are many more family oriented activities to be found, more sight seeing to be done, more history to explore, a greater mix of cultures and, arguably, a safer destination. This too is on my list of things to do, and I'm going to visit in this coming October.

Bon voyage.........................

Florida. Mexico is too hot and filled with dead dogs lying on the side of the road. At least I went there and that is what part of it is like.

Florida is more geared for families, Mexico is not.

Right now, how about Chihuahua Mexico. It's a beautiful city with lots to do and great food --- and no where near a hurricane.

Any the position alongside the Emerald Coast is reliable. The sand is white and the water eco-friendly. it truly is plenty better positive than Clearwater section. seashore is a quaint motel it incredibly is often family participants orientated, and the different cities are better touristy with sights off the coastline. look at diverse places and settle on the position think ofyou've got the perfect time.
