pick him up and run him to the finish line, which you would have to do anyway because there is nobody around and you wouldnt have a cellphone on you since you are running the race so you might as well pick the kid up and will a millon dollars too.

The race course must be checked and monitored.I suspect that one of the judges will be penalized.If you stopped to help the child would the other runners also stop?The child is likely to have a miracle when you reach the finish line.Keep running and tell the authorities at the end of the race.

How did the child get there? Perhaps the race organizers deliberately put the child there to prompt the closest one to the finish line to stop and care for him/her? And if you did stop, your selfless act would double your winnings??
What you are really asking is, "Is a human life more valuable than money?"
Yes, it is.
I would stop, then complain to security, race organizers, and the child's irresponsible parents!

well since it's so close to the finish..i run, finish the race and then go back, scoop up the kid, tend to him and buy him an ice cream.

get my million dollars and adopt the kid and give him/ her a home.
When the tv cameras come I say I will to dedicate this race tothe kid and give him a home.
