There might have been a hair follicle or whatever you call it in the spot that the mole grew.

Most likely the mole is sitting directly on top of a hair follicle, to get rid of it altogether you should see a doctor I believe there are ways to medically remove moles
what's weird is even my dog has a few moles with hairs growing out, it's kind of funny

Pluck it. Or use facial hair remover cream (if it's on your face). If it's not on your face, you can still pluck it or use hair remover cream (try Nair).
