You left out entirely the possibility that black guys are asking white girls out, which is probably a bit more common than either of the choices you listed.
I'm a white guy. I'm married, but I'd ask a black girl out if I thought she might be interested and I thought we would have a good time. Most of the time, though, I don't perceive that black girls usually pay a lot of attention to the fact that we exist. They don't often, I don't think, view white guys as dating material. A lot of the black women I have known over the years would probably have turned me down and then laughed off that I had asked them out only to turn around and moan that it's hard to find a good (black) man. You should date a quality man or woman. Culture may impact your choices, but color alone should not.

I think lot of the time when we see so many black guys with white girls it is like a trophy type complex or something. It used to be forbidden for mixed couples to be together and the men being men had to have the white girls. I think some how this thinking stuck in the minds of guys, and women and girls never really got into it, so that's why you see more blk guys/ whte girls My brother is white and my sister in law is blk, I think if a white guy asks out a blk girls he truly likes her and it is not a trophy thing. Don't get me wrong some blk guys are really into white girls because of who they are not and not just the color, I just think that's how it got started.

Well, I personally think that Black guys are determined, well, most of them anyway. But I think that white guys are more afraid of dating a sister because they may see the Black male as intimidating or what not. But don't get me wrong cuz sisters aren't asking out white guys either. I don't know a reason for that.

I don't think color matters, and it is possible that the white girls have asked out the black guys. It's not always the guys doing the asking!! :)

I notice alot more white women with black men all the time.
I think white men are a little more shy about approaching us because they think that we compare them to black men. And then there's that myth about black men being bigger in a certain area than white men...SO not true. race doesn't have anything to do with how big or how small it is.
So come on guys, don't be shy..we won't bite. :-)

Maybe they believe bodily stereotypes and feel they wouldn't, well, measure up...? lol

Or maybe after bad U.S. history...being a white male...maybe some aren't sure if a black woman would want to be with him.

I think color has nothing to do with it. Personally I think it is easier for men to ask women out then it is for women to ask a man out. Of all the dating I used to do, I have never asked a guy on a date. They always asked me!

whiteboys -we don't want to get our a$$es kicked by all your black cousins and brothers

if we fight back - we are then the racist evil white man oppressing all the blacks so most of us try to stay away from anything to do with race

I think that when you are attracted to someone, you don't think about race. And you just want to ask them out.
