If you aren't living together, and you are not contemplating being married, you are having fun together and enjoying your life. Go out with each other and have fun, but don't rush into anything you are not comfortable with. I was 17 when I lost my virginity, and I only did it because I felt that I was so in love with my boyfriend that it felt right. But don't do anything that you aren't ready for. I got pregnant about four months after losing my virginity, only a few months after being with him. I got lucky, because he was a good man and chose to stick by me with our decision to keep the baby. That was 13 yrs ago, and although we were married young and have had some very rough times, we are still together and love each other very much. Have fun, enjoy your life, and take precautions if you do decide to have sex, because your childhood is too short:). Good luck and email me if you would like more advice:)

I don't think it matters how much you think/are in love. If you are not ready for the physical, psychological consequences and changes, I don't think you should do it.
I lost my virginity when I was 19 and only because I was absolutely ready for it. I've learned alot since then and what love should really be about. We are so in love and I'm a month pregnant. We used pretty much every reasonable precaution and still it happens. Just be sure that you are ready for this really big step and have respect for yourself as well as him.
I don't know, all I can give is my experience.

Age is just a number, don't let anybody else tell you otherwise. It's really more about how mature the two of you are. Dating is a part of life and a part of teen life so don't think that it's not okay, it's completely normal. Good luck and I hope you have a long and happy relationship.
