I walk with a pretty bad limp and say that Areosmith "Walk This Way" is my theme song. This seems to put people at ease a little when they see me walk. I am not afraid to do and/or try anything that people that walk "normal" do. Just two weeks ago my fiance and I went White Water Rafting and had a blast. I work with young people in conflict with the law and believe that my so called disability works to my advantage in this situation as many see me better able to relate to them because they also feel different. I live an honest, lovely life - this is what makes me unique.
