A scientific definition will be: human is any living or extinct member from the ORDER Primates of the FAMILY Hominidae, GENU Homo, SPECIES: Homo sapiens (all species except Homo sapiens are extinct).
But for me, to be human is more related to your actions and feelings, you could find a human in a animal action, and an animal in a human action.
