If you think Harry is going to die too then say so. I forgot to write that in the question.

As much as I don't like it, I think it is totally possible that J.K. Rowling might kill off Harry. If you remember the article, she said that there is a good side to killing off your main character. When she is dead and gone, no one will be able to come back and write Harry because he already died; it would be satisfactory to know that no one will come back and take over you masterpiece.

Here is a list of people besides Harry that I think might perish.

Ron: Besides being Harry's best mate, we haven't really seen him prove himself in times of danger and battle. He showed his strengths back in Book 1 when during the giant chess match during the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone. There is a theory that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry in the final match against Voldemort.

Pettigrew: Do I have to explain it? Let's see... He betrayed the Potters, he helped Voldemort get his body back, and is an all-around bad guy. I think it's time to go, and that the life-debt that he has to Harry will be involved somehow.

Draco: I think that apart from being "bad", Draco is really a tragic character. His family are Death Eaters. He's got a lot to live up to. I got the kind of feeling that he was forced in the Book 6 to serve Voldemort. All the stress he underwent, the frustration, the anxiety... I mean, the poor boy was misguided. Remember that he is only about 17. People can make horrible mistakes when they are at that age. Unfortunately in Draco's case, it might cost him his life. He's in too deep.

Professor Trelawney: I think there is a possibility of her death in Book 7. She's always predicting how people will die, and seeing strange, dark omens everywhere. I think that is a kind of subtle foreshadowing. She sees death everywhere, why can't it be hers? I just wonder how this would play out, and how important it would be to the actual plot.

Percy: Hmm... Anyone sure which side he is really on?

Who will get a reprieve? (JKR said in a very recent interview that she gave a certain character a reprieve from dying) I have an inkling that it is one of the Dursleys.... or Snape.

It is probably going to be Voldemort, because why else would Harry, Ron, and Hermione go looking for the 4 other Horcruxes, as Ms. Rowling has said on her official website. Also, she hinted that many were going to die, to stop from making any other Unofficial books, so probably Harry, to stop from making any other Harry Potter books, Hermione, to stop from her "future." Ron, maybe, so that he doesn't have a Quidditch career. Neville, I'm not sure, but maybe not, because he definetly can't be an Auror (in book 6, he got an A[cceptable] in his OWLs for tranfiguration, so he couldn't continue transfiguration), so the probability of Neville in an, I don't know, Shop, or maybe Herbology in Hogwarts isn't that exciting. The other main characters, like Neville, don't have a very important part in the story (as much as Harry), and their "Unofficial" books wouldn't be very interesting, and probably people wouldn't read them.

On the other hand, Ms.Rowling has said, in her interview with http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org and http://mugglenet.com, and as the Harry Potter fans keep bombarding her with millions of fan-mail for her to continue the series, or other books, she probably will make other books, for charity (after the seventh). These books may include, but not garantee; other books, such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages. Also, an "encyclopedia" for the characters, and a life story of Albus Dumbledore.

Voldemort definitely, and Harry will go with him I think...
Snape will also die, but at first he will prove his loyalty to the right side. Hagrid and one of the Weasleys may also die I think. This is a war, not a game, and there'll be many who die... :-(

Hermione and Ron have to stay alive. They will represent the new life after the fights are over. They are hope, love, happiness. :-) If everybody else dies, I don't care but they have to stay.

We know that either Harry or Voldemort will die. But my guess for the 2nd character is on one of the following people:

One of them will be Hagrid. Think back to book 2. Why did Professor Dumbledore keep Hagrid onstaff and allow him to continue to learn magic in a hidden wand.

The other I think will be (I can't think of his name) but he was the animagus that turned into the pet Rat of the Weasley's and was in the gang with Harry's father at Hogwarts There is a hint about him owing a debt to Harry. He has not paid that debt yet.

It has to be one of the Weasley's. Mrs. Weasley will be put in a situation where she has to choose one of her kids to sacrifice. Remember the scene in book 5 where she is facing her worst fear shown by the Boggart, and the clock in her house. Too many clues to this. There must be a personal reason why the Weasley's are so concerned about the Order of The Phoenix.

Weasley kids: Ron is Harry's best friend so it will be dramatic, and Ginny because Voldemort already tried to kill her and she is Harry's girl friend
Hagrid: He is Harry's last father figure
Hermione: Harry's best friend and important resource
Harry: Rowling wants to end the series, and thats the best way
Voldemort: you knew he was going to die since book 1, it just has to happen!

I think Harry is going to die because in all of the books she has written she keeps putting in the idea of how Harry is tied in to Lord Voldemort so I think he is going to have to sacrifice himself to kill Voldemort.

Voldermort is a definite, the other two will be Hagrid and Snape.

The series will turn into being about the redemption of Malfoy, I think. Harry and Voldemort can't fight, so it will fall to someone else. That someone else is Malfoy. Although sometimes I think Neville will be the hero.

Ginny will die. My friend printed twenty four pages worth of info on the seventh book and on every page there was a hint that someone were familiar with is going to die and that ginny will play an important role and all that stuff. PLUS, RAB IS SIRIUS BLACK'S BROTHER! remember, in the beginning of the fifth book they were cleaning up the house and they "came upon a heavy locket that none of them could open". i forgot his name but it starts with an "R"!!! only person i found that matches, plus there will be a new member of the order but no new main characters will be introduced! they think that the new character will be dumbledore's brother aberforth or maybe the barkeeper that listened in on trelawny's prediction!
