I am an MD. We are taught that the mouth is germier than the rectum, but honestly, there is little difference between the two. The difference is really in the kinds of germs, not the amount. The mouth is far more likely to have transmissible diseases than the rectum. The kinds of germs found in the rectum are generally well known to the body and are not as hazardous as a general rule, although both areas are well capable of harboring a host of harmful diseases.

actually, I watched a show on Showtime not too long ago where they checked different things out like that. They took 3 guys and 3 girls and tested for bacteria in there mouth, hands, anus and genitals. Think it was on a show called BullShit (with penn and teller). They also tested public toilet seats in various locations to see if those pads are warrented that everyone uses to cover the seat. They found, that the most bacteria was on the hands, then mouth, then toilet seat, then anus with genitals having the least bacteria of all (prob because they are covered in clothing all the time). Just wanted to share.

A person's mouth, so to say , can speak most despicable things, can hurt so deeply and break-up good realtionships.

A rectum can never do that.

so which do you think is dirtier?

Why wouldn't it be? If you think that a rectum is cleaner, you are one stupid SOB. One is input, the other is output....try to figure it out.

Is there a specific reason that you would like to know the answer to this question? I can't think of a single instance where this information would come in handy in my life...but if you must know, my educated guess would be no. Unless of course you are a dentist never wipes your ****.
