The Jews are the apple of G-ds eye, and Jesus is a Jew and your savior. The Sanhedrin came for Jesus not the Jewish people, the Sanhedrin were the scribes head of the Synagogues, they didn't like what Jesus was preaching because Jesus claimed he was G-d, they and the Romans killed Jesus, not the Jewish people.
