Well, as a girl answering this question, I personally don't find anything wrong with it. My mother is 13 years younger than my step-daddy, and it works perfectly fine. I think that most guys don't even think about the whole idea of hope in the future, they probably are just thinking about other things... I know some people who think that it is totally gross (like, let's say my Pa (49) dating a (let's say) 21 year old. Now, that would be slightly weird since he has two daughters older than that.
I guess that should be a rule. If the woman is younger than any of the man's children, then it is creepy. For the most part, though, I usually don't think anything of it.

Unfortunately there are many instances that people engage in relationshops purely out of money. However, I have witnessed many people coupling where either the man or the woman was 10-15 years older than their significant other, and it was out of love. They live humble lower, or middle class lives. There are other cases where the younger partner is dependant on the older one, not necessarily for money, but almost to a point where the older one is like a parent. I was in a relationship that ended becuase my partner left me for a woman 19 years his senior. It was sad for me, but they are still together, but there relationship is not great. I believe it is because he is quite immature, where she is a person who has 4 kids, takes care of everything. He tags along almost as a 5th child. Myself now, I am in a relationship where my boyfriend is 7 years older than me. I find that the men I meet that are my age or close to my age are quite immature. Sure there are exceptions, but this man is mature, understanding, and has lived life enough to understand what is right and wrong and act on those notions properly. So what is my overall opinion? That it should be accepted. Do I stare? No, i've seen it enough to be understanding.

I think, "for every hot b itch I see, some poor bastard is tired of putting up with her shi t." then I think, "man, he's going to be pissed when she divorces him 2 years after marriage and takes half his shi t!"
Young woman + Old guy = Gold Digger + some poor schlepp who's about to lose a lot of dough...but who's gonna have a good time spending it!
You can get out cheaper and have a lot more fun buy flying down to Miami and buying a kilo of coca and a Lamborghini. Drive up the coast stopping in strip bars and doing essentially the same thing as above except that the $$$ thing is all out in the open. Do that for a year, sell the Lambo, and then move on with your life as if nothing happened.

I think it is fine..to an extent (Anna Nicole was pushing it) I am 25 and my husband is 41. We have 2 kids, so I think that it works. I think some young girls go for the older guys because they don't play games like the young guys do. Age is just a number, so if you hit it off with someone younger / older and could actually see it going somewhere, then go for it.

First I think, "Lucky!" (Napoleon Dynamite voice)
Then I think, "You dirty rotten $#%&*@! I'll fight you for her!"
Then I think, "Well, maybe he's gonna die soon..."
Then I feel bad and wish that I would be so lucky when I get that old.
Then I think, "Hey, I don't want to wait the $%^&*@ long!
My grandfather is 92 and recently got remarried... to a woman 24 years younger. At least it's within the Rule: (1/2+7).
Fess up, Minx. You really are Catherine Zeta-Jones, aren't you?
I really should invest in Pfizer.

I am a girl but i hope it is ok to answer-> I either think 'Is that his daughter or he might be really rich, or it might be his bit on the side, or she is a gold digger!' Sorry i am totally aware at how i am stereotyping people, but stereotypes come from somewhere don't they... it would be nice to think oh isn't it great that love has no barriers...but if i thought like that all of the time i'd be constantly puking up!! lol :)

Depends on how much older. I'm sure that women can actually fall in love with older men. I believe that Holly, one of the playboy girlfriends is in love with Hugh.
However, I can't see myself falling for an older man at all ever. Money or not. By older I mean 20 years or more older than me.
I usually assume that he has money. A LOT of money. Or a really big pee pee

depending on the age of the woman it's okay a 16 yr old with a 30 yr old is wrong...a 25 yr old with a 40 year old..well you know what they are after..but sometimes you just see these people who are in love for what ever reason, and age doesn't matter to them. I don't personaly think i would be comfortable being with any one more than 10 years older than me.

Actually I am on the opposite end, getting the stares and comments. I look really young for my age and my fiance looks 30, but we are both 21. Alot of people giggle and make faces, sometimes they will say things but it's gotten a little better since we've had my son. Maybe I look my age now or something

I think is gross. Like when a 60 year old man is with a 21 year old woman. First off, its just not right. Second, she doesn't love him, she wants money. Third, its wrong, lol. Thats all I know to say.
