It is set to 'open in same window' The folders open in the same window but the internet explorer continues to open in new windows

follow this >
open my computer>then go to >tools> then go to Folden Options>then in the middle table where says >browse folders u will see it there

Open the Folder Options control panel from the Start menu. Under the Browse Folders heading, select the option to "Open each folder in the same window." Click OK to close the dialogue box.

Go to My Computer, then click Tools>Folder Options>Open each folder in the same window.

I'm sure this is a setting in Internet Explorer... which I don't use.

Why? It's big, slow, insecure and out-of-date.

Try Firefox - it's sleek, fast, more secure, up-to-date, customizable and free.

And you'll love using tabs once you get used to them.

Take the computer back to the store that you purchased it from and tell them.Call first.
