I'm working on my insurance producers license, and I would like to know a little better what to expect whenI am finished. Thanks!

Go for it, Im with one of the larger insurance companies now, they treat us well, good pay - heck, they're even paying me now to surf and answer yahoo questions. im doing courses to go for my designation as well, i think its a great way to jump-start your career.

Well, if you are already financially stable, then its a good career choice. 99.9% of insurance sales of any type is commission pay only, and you have to do a lot of researching/cold calling/account searching on your own. SO, if you don't need a steady paycheck, then go for it.

If you're OK with being seen as something lower than a used car salesman, then go for it! At least you'll be ahead of the lawyers!
