Also, is your avatar what you WISH you looked like? For example, did you chose curly long hair because you wish you had it?

She looks 20-something. I'm in my early 40's. She's very thin. I'm a little on the fluffy side. Other than that, pretty close. It's kind of a younger, thinner version of me.

In answer to your second question, no. I'm pretty happy with the way I really look.

A friend I had before looked at my Avatar and told me that I looked exactly like my Avatar. I thought he was joking - he was serious. Personally I don't think it looks like me completely - the hair is about right, and the complexion and the lips and the eyes, but it's still different, you know. It's like it's close to being me, but not quite me - if that makes sense. Also there's not a huge selection - for instance with the hairstyles.

I tried to match things as closely as possible. I used my eye color and my face shape. "She" has my hair color and basic style. The "full" avatar is dressed in shorts and a tee shirt (my style) and is standing on a deck with an ocean view.

I couldn't find a way to add "character lines", so I had to leave it at that. I DO kinda wish I still looked that young, but I'm glad I'm not.

my hair is curly but i always wear my hair in a clip just like my avatar, except my tips are black because i'm trying to grow the dye out...and now that they have plus size clothes, i look a little closer, but they need a wider range of clothing choices (pun intended...LOL)...i also work in a cubicle, so for now its fairly accurate

No, actually that's pretty much how I look. I have spiky hair, but it's much darker than in my picture, I couldn't find my hair color. I have tan colored skin, but it's much darker now because of summer. I generally wear a lot of collared shirts, especially since it's my school uniform to wear collars. I do have a pair of white shoes, and a couple of other colored pairs. I wear jeans too. I play a lot of sports which explains my background, but my room isn't always messy, and it definitely doesn't look like my background.

If your cartoon avatar can accurately depict your real looks then you must not have much uniqueness.

Mine looks as much like me as an avatar can, except my head isn't the size of my entire torso

My avatar is VERY accurate ! The only thing that I didnt have an option for is that I normally dont wear that type of thing...plus sizes dont give enough variety....
